Micro RC I/R Tanks

These little guiys are great fun.  My dad and I spent a good time tonight playing with them, driving around. They are cartoon-scale WW2 tanks. A german Panther, two color schemes of German Tiger I, and a Russian T-34... They are controlled by a handheld controller that emits I/R light. You can make them go forward and backwards, and turn left and right.  They have a simple trim, and 2 fire buttons!  They shoot an I/R light pulse and when they get hit thet spin around.  After getting hit 4 times they deactivate themselves and you lose!  They have real rubber treads, can negotiate things like magazines, stacks of paper, drinking straws, and other small obstacles, and can drive on many sorts of carpet, as well as table tops, tile, etc.  A 2-3 minute charge can bring up to 10 minutes of play.  And yes, we did get about 10 minutes in our testing.  (Constant driving will run the internal battery down in less than 10 minutes).  There are 4 different models, and each model is on a different channel, so up to 4 people can play at once. These are way fun.   We also have new models (same basic tank -- new Shreman US model and new paint on the others -- pictures to come.  Of the original shown here below only the T34 and Panther are availble.  The new models have Tiger, Panther, T34, and Sherman.

Original Models (Shown below) Price: $16 each, or 2 for $30 (2 or more $15 each -- we onlyhave a couple of the white panthers and a few of the green T-34s left)

From left to right:  Russian T34, German Panther, German Tiger I, other variant German Tiger I

Show in the background are two of the controllers / charging stands...
