Mounts

There are three basic mounts available for mounting your Aimpoint Comp M2 or ML2 on a picatinny rail.  If you want a static mount on a standard weaver rail, just get a 30mm wide ring and you should be set.

We stock all three basic mounts. The Genuine Aimpoint, which is the same one the US Military generally uses and what you see in TIME, Newsweek, USN&WR, etc., the A.R.M.S. throw lever mount, and the GG&G Standard Aimpoint Ring. These are all a sort of “Quick Release” mount. When mounting on an M4-Style AR15 flat top, you need a spacer (or a GG&G FIRE rail or A.R.M.S rail) to allow the Aimpoint to not interfere with the iron sights and for co-witnessing the iron sights with the Aimpoint. If you are mounting on a standard AR15 or M16 with carry handle, your best bet is to get one of these quick release mounts and then the Aimpoint Standard M16 Forward Mount. This mount attaches to the carry handly and sticks out over the handguards so that your Aimpoint is co-witnessed with your iron sights and your cheek weld when mounting your firearm to your shooting position stays the same.

From left to right:  The A.R.M.S. Throw Lever Mount, the GG&G Standard Aimpoint Ring, and the Genuine Aimpoint QRP Quick Release Mount.  (None of them show the spacers needed on a flat top AR15/M16). These all mount to a standard picattiny rail and will fit most any firearm that has such a rail. The AA battery and the US quarter and penny are shown for size reference only.
